Itinerary
Day 1
Amsterdam

We have included a selection of ways to travel Amsterdam - these are all included at no supplement. Fly from your choice of 15 regional airports with KLM or London Heathrow with British Airways. Alternatively, travel Standard Premier aboard Eurostar from St. Pancras International to Amsterdam via Brussels. A representative will transfer you to your luxury ship. Tonight enjoy a welcome reception. (D)

Day 2
Amsterdam

This morning choose from the following: a guided tour of Anne Frank House and city tour; a guided bike tour; or a sightseeing canal cruise. For the more adventurous there is the option of a self guided walking tour with your own personal audio guide. This evening join your fellow passengers in the Crystal Dining Room for the Captain's Welcome Dinner. (B,L,D)

Day 3
Arnhem - Rees

Disembarking our ship in Nijmegen, journey to Arnhem and the 5,500 hectare De Hoge Veluwe National Park, home to many endangered plant and animal species. Our included tour will visit the Kröller Müller Museum featuring works of Picasso and Van Gogh and Europe's largest sculpture garden. Crossing the border to Germany, we will rejoin the cruise in Rees. (B,L,D)

Day 4
Bonn

Today we visit Bonn, where you will enjoy an included sightseeing tour and walk through the Old Town. Former capital of Germany between 1949 to 1991, it is also the birthplace of the great Ludwig van Beethoven. (B,L,D)

Day 5
Cochem

Cochem will make you feel as if you are stepping directly into a fairy tale on your included guided tour. The Moselle area is well renowned for its great tasting wine and today we invite you to experience traditional wine-making with a tasting at a local family-owned winery. (B,L,D)

Day 6
Bernkastel - Luxembourg

This morning our ship docks in Bernkastel where we journey to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Luxembourg is one of three capital cities to house administrative offices for the European Union. Join your guide on an included walking tour highlighting Luxembourg's well preserved old town. Tonight our ship stays in Bernkastel overnight.

Day 7
Trier and Bernkastel

Journey today to one of Germany's oldest cities, Trier, where you will stroll through history to sites dating back to the Roman times, such as Dom St. Peter Cathedral. After lunch on board your ship, join your local guide as you discover Bernkastel. This afternoon we set sail down the Rhine. (B,L,D)

Day 8
Boppard - Rhine Gorge

Today we cruise through the spectacular Rhine Gorge, with its stunning vistas of castles perched above the steep vine-covered slopes. We stop in the heart of Rhine country to discover Boppard, a medieval town with a 2000 year old history. As we set sail again, learn about the legend of the Lorelei and fall under the spell of the magic Rhine Valley.

Day 9
Heidelberg

Heidelberg is one of Germany's most beautiful towns. Today you will have the opportunity to visit Germany's first and one of Europe's oldest universities on your included guided city tour. On our full day excursion you will have the opportunity to ascend Heidelberger Schloss Castle or you may wish to discover more of the city at your own pace with a self guided audio tour.

Day 10
Baden - Baden

After the ship docks in Gambsheim, we take an excursion to the exquisite town of Baden-Baden located in the Black Forest. On your included guided tour visit the 150 year old Casino. (B,L,D)

Day 11
Strasbourg

A taste of France awaits you as we cruise to the 'Crossroads of Europe', Strasbourg. Today choose from a walking tour of Strasbourg, including La Petite France; or an excursion to the French Alsace wine region, including a tasting. You may wish to choose the self guided audio tour to explore the lovely canals and half-timbered houses of Strasbourg on your own. (B,L,D)

Day 12
Black Forest

Join us today on an included full day excursion to the majestic Black Forest. We start with a baking demonstration of the world famous Black Forest cake at the open air museum of Vogtsbauernhof before taking a train directly through the heart of the Black Forest. Enjoy lunch off board today in the town of Triberg. This evening join your Captain in a farewell reception and dinner. (B,L,D)

Day 13
Basel

This morning we sail through to the Swiss town of Basel. Discover on our included guided tour of the Marktplatz, with its daily fresh food markets and the striking Rathaus, Basel's City Hall. (B,L,D)

Day 14
Basel

After breakfast, you transfer to the airport for your flight to the UK or Eurostar to St. Pancras International from Basel Mulhouse via Paris. (B)
