Embark at 6pm in Vienna. Welcome cocktail and dinner with an Austrian theme on board this evening.

Breakfast onboard followed by an optional guided tour of Schoenbrun Castle, former summer residence of the Imperial family. With its 40 rooms of imperial apartments this residence bears witness to the splendour of life at the time of Marie Therese. Return on board for lunch. In the afternoon we enjoy an optional visit to Vienna. The Imperial City for more than 6 centuries, Vienna is regarded as the hallmark of the Habsburgs. This city particularly owes its charm to its monuments, with memories of the Hapsburg era, its many museums and it famous Operas. The Christmas markets simply add to its charm. Discover the fabulous Christmas market in front of the town hall, marvellously decorated for this festive season. Return on board for dinner and evening entertainment.

Breakfast and lunch on board as we spend this morning cruising. During this day sailing on the Danube relax and enjoy the magnificent scenery. Arrive in Budapest around 5pm. We enjoy a special Christmas Eve dinner, and then join Midnight Mass in one of the churches of this city, subject to places being available. Return on board for some festive ‘vin chaud’.

After breakfast we spend the morning on an optional tour of Budapest. Discover this amazing city, split by the river Danube into two sections, reunited to make one city in 1872: Buda with its scenic hills and valleys and Baroque Palaces, and Pest with its variety of architectural influences . Return on board for lunch. Free afternoon to further discover this magnificent city at your leisure. Return on board and the ship sets sail at about 7pm this evening, and we head towards Bratislava. Hungarian theme dinner on board.

Morning of cruising and breakfast on board. For the brave among you we offer a gym class on board. Lunch as we cruise, and arrive in Bratislava at around 4pm. This afternoon we take an optional tour of the Slovakian capital. Bratislava’s real charm is in its old town: splendid baroque palaces, churches and delightful squares. Return on board for dinner and gala evening. The ship departs during the night for Vienna.

We arrive in Vienna early this morning. Buffet breakfast on board and then disembark around 9am.
