AIJ: Holland Ijsselmeer Itinerary
Day 1 - Amsterdam (Netherlands)
Embark at 6pm in Amsterdam with time to settle into your cabin before meeting the crew during a welcome cocktail reception. Dinner on board follwed by a night-time optional sightseeing tour of Amsterdam by canal boat.
Day 2 - Amsterdam
Set off on an optional guided visit of the Dutch capital with a rich and fascinating history.Explore at leisure this afternoon and remain in port overnight.
Day 3 - Hoorn - Enkhuizen
Spend this morning cruising to Hoorn, one of the major cities in West Friesland. Take an optional tour to Alkmaar and the Dutch Cheese Museum. This evening begin cruising to Enkhuizen.
Day 4 - Enkhuizen - Lemmer
After breakfast enjoy some free time to explore Enkhuizen at leisure, perhaps visiting the Zuiderzee Museum which is devoted to the areas cultural and maritime heritage. Afterwards cruise the Ijsselmeer lake to Lemmer. Gala Dinner this evening.
Day 5 - Lemmer - Amsterdam
Enjoy breakfast and lunch on board whilst cruising towards Amsterdam, arriving early afternoon. There is an optional sightseeing tour to Keukenhof Floral Park to admire the wide variety of tulips, narcisi and daffodils (open from mid-March to mid-May). Return to the ship for dinner and perhaps explore further this evening or take the optional tour of the Red Light District.
Day 6 - Amsterdam
Disembark after breakfast, at about 9am.
