Marseilles the Iberian Coasts cruise first visits Gibraltar. At the entrance to the Mediterranean, Gibraltar's famous rock guards the narrow shipping straits. Ascend the rock, see the legendary apes, and explore the shopping. From Gibraltar it is a short cruise to North Africa and Tangier. Explore the Grand Souk and its taste of Morocco.

Casablanca - made famous by a film, but it has many beautiful sights. Into the Mediterranean to Malaga. Itself well worth the visit but don't miss the tour to medieval Granada, a unique jewel of Moorish architecture.

Next along the Costa Brava coast and its beaches to the beautiful town of Alicante. Visit the lively city of Barcelona. Walk Las Ramblas, see the famous Gaudy architecture, perhaps visit FC Barcelona's stadium.

The cruise continues to Genoa in Italy, with its restored waterfront and large medieval quarter before returning to Marseilles relaxed after your New Year crusie.

Itinerary
DAY 1	Marseilles, France Embark and depart in the early evening.
DAY 2	Cruising at sea
DAY 3	Gibraltar The “Rock”, guarding the entrance to the Mediterranean sea, offers a fascinating blend of English and Spanish culture. A ride to the 1400 foot high summit affords a breathtaking view. Tangier, Morocco Located in the kingdom of Morocco, at the western tip of North Africa, Tangier will give you a chance to bargain for treasures at the Grand Souk - especially brass, silver, amber, leather and rugs.
DAY 4	Casablanca, Morocco The largest city in Morocco, its centre is impressive, with large boulevards and tall, white, well-kept buildings. The old city is more reminiscent of the Casablanca of Bergman and Bogart; a much smaller area with older houses and a good market. Certain landmarks are particularly beautiful, such as the Hassan II Mosque, which is well worth a visit.
DAY 5	Malaga, Spain Malaga is situated in the heart of Spain’s famous Costa del Sol. The Moors occupied this area of Spain for eight centuries and their influence is seen in the architecture, folklore and native costumes. Almeria The Alhambra Palace, overlooking the city of Granada, stands out as one the most famous examples of Moorish architecture, and perhaps it is the most known Muslim construction all in all. Delight in a visit of the lush gardens of the Generalife, the summer palace of the Kings of Granada.Marvel at the Nasrid Palace, constructed around the Myrtle and Lion Courts in the 14th century.
DAY 6	Alicante, Spain Alicante, with its beautiful boulevard and pleasant shopping street, is one of the most well-known towns on the Costa Blanca. The coast of Alicante and the Costa Blanca owes its name to the beaches stretching for several kilometres and attracts many sun worshippers and pleasure seekers.
DAY 7	Barcelona, Spain Fabulous architecture, world-class museums, fine foods, wines and fashionable shops. Barcelona has it all. Take a walk along Las Ramblas to feel the spirit of the city.
DAY 8	Genoa, Italy Birthplace of Christopher Columbus, Genoa has a long and proud history as one of the most important ports in the Mediterranean. The rejuvenated waterfront is home to an outstanding maritime museum and aquarium. The city has the second largest medieval quarter in Europe with superb examples of gothic architecture, perfect for an afternoon stroll.
