Day 1
Porto

Embark your cruise ship in Porto from 5pm. This evening enjoy a welcome cocktail and dinner onboard, followed by an optional coach tour of Porto by night.

Day 2
Porto – Regua

After a buffet breakfast onboard, you may wish to join the optional tour of Porto, Portugal’s second largest town, and one of Europe’s most ancient and historic towns. Porto also represents the port wine with its vineyards along the Douro. We visit one of the greatest cellars in Villa Nova de Gaia, where you will have the opportunity to taste the wines. Back on board for lunch and an afternoon of relaxed cruising as we admire the wonderful landscapes of the Douro Valley. We pass the locks of Crestuma and Carapatello (the highest in Europe, at 36 metres). Arrive in Regua around 8pm. Dinner aboard and evening with a folk dancing group.

Day 3
Regua - Vega de Teron

The cruise then departs towards Tavora. Breakfast buffet on board. There is then an optional excursion to experience the “Wines of Porto”. Then return to the ship for lunch. We will then continue in the direction of Vega de Teron and will arrive in the evening before dinner on board the ship.

Day 4
Vega de Teron

Today there is a full day optional excursion to the Spanish city of Salamanca, a Unesco World heritage site with its Roman, Arabic and Christian architectural treasures. Re-join the ship in Vega Teron for dinner and a Spanish theme evening.

Day 5
Vega de Teron - Pinhao - Regua - Bitetos

We will then cruise early in the morning from Vega de Teron. Breakfast will be served on board before heading to Pinhao. Lunch on board. In the afternoon, there will be an optional excursion to Villa Real with its variety of religious architecture. A short while later you will take a walk in the beautiful gardens of “Solar de Mateus”. Return on board at Regua before continuing in the direction of Bitetos. Throughout this journey, you may enjoy the passing wild landscape and rock faces. Dinner and a traditional evening on board.

Day 6
Bitetos - Porto

Early this morning our ship sets sail for Porto, where we disembark after breakfast.For navigational reasons the Captain of the ship reserves the right to modify the cruise itinerary
