VEN - Venice City Cruise Break Itinerary
Day 1 - Venice (Italy)
Embark at 6pm in Venice at our mooring on the Marittima or San Basilio wharf (waterbus stop Santa Marta). Enjoy a welcome cocktail party in the lounge. After dinner, explore the sights of Venice at leisure. Overnight in port.
Day 2 - Venice
This morning cruise the Venetian lagoon. Return to Venice for lunch on board. In the afternoon, enjoy an optional sightseeing tour to the islands of Burano, known for its lace, and Murano, noted for its glass-blowing workshops. Alternatively enjoy a free afternoon in Venice. Dinner on board.
Day 3 - Venice
Spend today discovering Venice at leisure. In the morning perhaps join an optional guided walking tour visiting St Mark's Square and the Doges Palace. Return to the ship for lunch and enjoy a free afternoon in Venice. Dinner on board and evening at leisure in Venice.
Day 4 - Chioggia
Breakfast on board while the ship cruises across the magnificent Venice lagoon to reach Chioggia mid morning. Have some time to discover the town on your own before lunch on board. In the afternoon, an optional excursion visits Padua, the pilgrimage town of St Anthony and famous for its art. Following a visit to the Santo Basilica, dedicated to St Anthony, stroll through the historic town centre and discover the popular Pedrocchi coffee house. In the meantime, the ship cruises back to Venice where you will join it in the evening. Dinner on board and gala evening.
Day 5 - Venice
Disembark at the passenger terminal after breakfast.
