If you decide to travel by coach to Heidelberg, visit the red-walled castle offering beautiful views of the Neckar Valley and Heidelberg below. Then tour old Heidelberg before rejoining the ship in Rüdesheim. Alternatively, stay in Mainz and enjoy a walking tour of this charming city, including a visit to the Gutenberg Museum, before cruising on the Main and Rhine rivers to Rüdesheim. Board the Winzerexpress mini-train and visit Siegfried's Mechanical Music Instrument Museum.
