The heart of this cruise is Dubai, one of the most exciting cities in the world, with mosques and shopping centre, sea and desert. Its famous Palm island, now joined by the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, is matched for amazement by the indoor ski-slope and the huge Dubai shopping mall. The iconic Burj al Arab hotel with its sail appearance is one of the best hotels in the world. In contrast, the ancient area around the Dubai Creek is barely changed.

A different landscape and a different world is Oman, with its capital, Muscat, surrounded by ancient city walls. From Fujairah you can discover the desert with its mysterious landscapes of red dunes and rock.

The corniche at Abu Dhabi

The capital of the Emirates, Abu Dhabi, is a modern city with ancient traditions. Its magnificent Corniche and the stunning Emirates Palace hotel have a backdrop of multinational skyscrapers. The cruise finally calls at the island of Bahrain, with unforgettable contrasts of ancient and modern.

Jewels of the Emirates Cruise Itinerary
Day 1
Dubai - United Arab Emirates

Arrive in Dubai. Optional excursions include a Dubai City tour visiting the Jumeirah Mosque and the old Al-Bastakia area around Dubai Creek. Overnight on ship.

Day 2
Dubai - United Arab Emirates

Morning to explore. Depart 1pm.

Day 3
Muscat - Oman

Arrive 9am. Optional excursions include city tours, dolphin watching by speedboat and exhilarating 4x4 safaris through the mountains and wadis. Depart 7pm.

Day 4
Fujairah - United Arab Emirates

Arrive 7am. Optional excursions include a heritage tour, relaxing beach trip and a desert jeep safari. Depart 4pm.

Day 5
Abu Dhabi - United Arab Emirates

Arrive 9am. Optional excursions include city tour visiting the spectacular Corniche and Heritage village. Depart 6pm.

Day 6
Bahrain

Arrive 9am. Optional excursions include a cultural tour visiting Al Fatah Mosque, the largest in Bahrain, history tours and a tour of the Formula 1 racing circuit. Depart 6pm.

Day 7
Dubai - United Arab Emirates

Arrive 1pm. Optional excursions include a dinner cruise on board a traditional wooden dhow to take in the skyline or a desert safari with dinner under the stars. Overnight on ship.

Day 8
Dubai - United Arab Emirates

Disembarkation.

There is a left luggage facility at the cruise terminal for guests who arrive prior to embarkation, perhaps from an overnight flight. Alternatively, you can choose a daytime flight to Dubai arriving at about midnight Dubai time.
