This Mediterranean cruise aboard the 46-passenger motor yacht Pegasus, starts and ends in Venice, and explores Croatia's Coast and the island of Hvar.

This cruise offers an opportunity to explore Venice, a magical city of palaces, canals and bridges. You will travel to the Croatian coastal treasures of Split, with its marvellous Diocletian's Palace; Pula with beautifully preserved Roman arena; Rovinj, Zadar and Sibenik and Hvar.

Your motor yacht Pegasus offers 2,500 square feet of open deck from which to appreciate the magnificent views. Enjoy the relaxed, congenial atmosphere with half board, ocean-view dining in unassigned seating.

Day 1 Sunday
Venice

Embark at 4pm and after a welcome reception, there is more time to explore Venice, the Queen of the Adriatic. Don't miss the opportunity to see more of this romantic city of palaces, canals and bridges. Overnight in Venice.

Day 2 Monday
Rovinj

This morning we reach Rovinj. After breakfast you may join our optional excursion through the exciting city discovering the old town. The baroque archway, by which you enter the old town, was built on the site of the former outer gate in the seventeenth century. In the afternoon there is the opportunity to take another optional excursion to Dvigrad, an abandoned medieval town - Bale - with its extraordinary Bembo Palace - and Sminj. Overnight at sea on the way to Zadar

Day 3 Tuesday
Zadar

Early in the morning we arrive at Zadar, a fortified town located on the Adriatic Coast. Your optional half-day excursion will allow you to discover the street nets built by the Romans and a surrounding wooden bulwark built by the Venetians in the 16th century. The historical part of Zadar is fascinating. Your afternoon is free to explore this colourful town. Overnight in Zadar.

Day 4 Wednesday
Sibenik

Today we reach Sibenik, the oldest native town of Croatia and the heart of the Adriatic coast situated at the mouth of the River Krka. Today, Sibenik is a lively town where little streets lead to attractive squares. Your optional half-day day walking excursion will include a UNESCO World Heritage site, the great cathedral of St. Jakov. Overnight in Sibenik.

Day 5 Thursday
Hvar

After leaving Siebenik early in the morning we reach the lush and beautiful island of Hvar. Hvar is an island of sunshine, lavender, rosemary, wine and secluded coves. The afternoon half-day walking excursion is adapted to the relaxed rhythms of island life and includes a visit the Renaissance cathedral of St Stephan and the Franciscan Monastery. Overnight in Hvar.

Day 6 Friday
Split

Our short early morning cruise brings us to Split, the capital of Dalmatia. The city developed around the palace of the Roman emperor Diocletian, and was built over 1700 years ago. Your optional tour includes a visit to the city of Trogir, situated on a small island connected to the mainland by a bridge. Visit Trogir's main attraction, the Cathedral of St. Lawrence before proceeding to the nearby Old Mill, or Pantan, for a light snack of smoked ham, cheese and olives, accompanied by Dalmatian music. Your tour continues with a walking tour of Split and a visit to Diocletian's Palace, the St Dulmus cathedral - a UNESCO-designated World Heritage Site, the treasury, the Diocletian's cellars, and the Temple of Jupiter. Overnight at sea en route to Pula.

Day 7 Saturday
Pula

Early in the morning we reach Pula, the centre of the Istria region, spreading over seven hills and an ancient Roman colony called Pollenta. Your optional half-day excursion showcases important Roman monuments including the beautifully preserved Amphitheatre that could seat 23,000 people; the Temple of Augustus, the lovely Triumphal Arch and the Hercules Gat, the town's oldest monument. The Temple of Jupiter was converted to a church in the 4th century and is a combination of Roman and Byzantine architecture. The tour includes a stop at the village of Kruncici, at the Matosevic local wine cellar, where there will be a chance to try one of the best wines of this region. Overnight at sea en route to Venice.

Day 8 Sunday
Venice

Morning disembarkation after breakfast.

Swimstops are weather permitting. Itinerary is subject to weather conditions and sailing is not permitted in winds of force 7 on the Beaufort scale or above. The Company reserves the right to substitute the vessel.
