MV Lord of the Glens

April and October in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland
Day 1
Fort Augustus, Scotland

Transfer from Inverness and embark the 'Lord of the Glens' at Fort Augustus (2011 departures embark at Dochgarroch). Evening Captain's welcome reception and dinner whilst cruising Loch Ness. Moor Fort Augustus overnight.

Day 2
Loch Oich - Loch Lochy - Banavie, Scotland

Ascend a flight of six inter-connected locks which runs through the centre of Fort Augustus and cruise various man-made sections of the Caledonian Canal, crossing Loch Oich and Loch Lochy to Banavie. At Banavie, descend Neptune's Staircase, a flight of 8 inter-connected which lowers the vessel to Corpach, for Fort William. In the afternoon, take the West Highland Line train to Glenfinnan and cross the famous viaduct, leaving the train for a visit to the Glenfinnan Monument. Lord of the Glens will moor at Corpach overnight.

Day 3
Loch Linnhe - Tobermory, Isle of Mull, Scotland

After exiting the Caledonian Canal, enter Loch Linnhe and continue to the Sound of Mull, for a visit to Craignure, Duart Castle and Torosay Gardens. Later, drive to Tobermory where the ship awaits your arrival.

Day 4
Tobermory, Isle of Mull - Oban, Scotland

After a morning of free time in Tobermory, sail to Oban in Argyllshire, where the Captain's Farewell Reception and Dinner will be held in the evening. Lord of the Glens will moor at Oban overnight.

Day 5
Oban, Scotland

Disembark Lord of the Glens and transfer to Inverness.
