Variety Voyager Itinerary

Day 1 - UK - Havana (Cuba)

Fly from the UK to Havana.

Day 2 - Havana - Cienfuegos

Arrive in Havana and transfer by bus to Cienfuegos. There will be the opportunity to join an optional tour of Cienfuegos , a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Embark Variety Voyager this afternoon. Welcome dinner on board. Overnight at sea.

Day 3 - Casilda

Arrive early morning in Casilda. There is a full day optional excursion to Trinidad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and well-preserved Spanish colonial city. Enjoy a walk through the town followed by a visit to the Romantic Museum or the fascinating Palacio Cantero Museum. You'll also enjoy a visit to the studio of Lazaro and lunch in a traditional restaurant. Cruise overnight to Isla Juventud.

Days 4-5 - Bay of Singuanea (Isla Juventud)

Arrive at Isla de la Juventud late this afternoon and anchor in the bay of Singuanea. The following day there is an optional excursion. Enjoy a ride on a bus to the Presidio Modelo, an abandoned prison. Enjoy lunch in a traditional restaurant before visiting an art school and maternity ward of a local hospital. Later, there will be time at leisure. Dinner on board this evening. Overnight at sea to Maria la Gorda.

Day 6 - Maria La Gorda

This morning, arrive in Maria la Gorda for a full day land tour. Enjoy a visit to a local school to meet the Cuban children and their teachers, before visiting the headquarters of Guanahacabibes National Park. There may be the opportunity to explore the park, followed by free time swimming and snorkelling.

Day 7 - Havana

Enjoy an optional excursion in Havana, which begins with a walking tour of Old Havana. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before a scenic drive in vintage American cars to Finca Vigia, home of Ernest Hemingway. Later, there will be free time before dinner at Cafe El Mercurio and salsa at Cafe Taberna.

Day 8 - Havana

Join the optional excursion to Fusterlandia, the studio of artist Jose Rodriguez Fuster. Alternatively, visit a cigar factory or enjoy a rum tasting. Lunch will be at Barraca Restaurant in Hotel Nacional de Cuba. Stay at the hotel for a fascinating lecture will renowned architect Pedro Vasquez followed by time at leisure. Captain's farewell Dinner on board.

Day 9 - Havana - UK

Disembark in Havana after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your overnight flight to the UK.

Day 10 - UK

Arrive in the UK.

All excursions must be pre-booked and pre-paid 20-days prior to embarkation, with no possibility of last-minute notice or participation. Since space at Havana dock itself is severely limited, this itinerary might involve a combination of having to tender in to shore, as well as docking at one of only two piers. Please note the itinerary operates in reverse on selected dates. Swim stops and barbeques are weather permitting. Itinerary is subject to weather conditions and sailing might not be permitted in force 7 Beaufort winds. The company reserves the right to substitute the vessel.

Panorama and Callisto Itinerary

Day 1 - UK - Havana (Cuba)

Fly from the UK to Havana.

Day 2 - Havana - Cienfuegos

Arrive in Havana and transfer by bus to Cienfuegos. Embark Panorama or Callisto and join the welcome meeting. Perhaps take the optional walking tour of Cienfuegos. Overnight at sea to Casilda.

Day 3 - Casilda

Arrive in Casilda this morning. There is an optional excursion which takes in Trinidad, a well-preserved colonial city. Walk through the city with a guide, attend a local architect's presentation, visit the Romantic Museum plus the woodcarving studio of Lasaro, before returning to the ship for dinner. Overnight at sea to Isla de la Juventud.

Days 4-5 - Bay of Singuanea (Isla de la Juventud)

Arrive at Isla de la Juventud late this afternoon and anchor in the bay of Singuanea. The following day there is an optional excursion. Day 7 - Vinales Valley - Havana

Today there is an optional excursion to the Vinales Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site in the Pinar del Rio Province of Cuba. Enjoy a visit to a tobacco plantation, before enjoying lunch at an organic restaurant. later, head to the Hotel Nacional de Cuba for a lecture with well-known architect Pedro Vasquez. Return to the ship for dinner, followed by a trip to the Café Taberna to experience the salsa. Overnight in port.

Day 8 - Havana

After breakfast, disembark for an optional walking exploration through Old Havana. Admire old baroque and neo-classical masterpieces. Continue to a local restaurant for lunch, followed by a scenic drive in vintage American cars to Finca Vigia, home of Ernest Hemingway. Farewell dinner on board. Overnight in port.

Day 9 - Havana - UK

Disembark Panorama or Callisto after breakfast and transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
