Legendary Magellan Itinerary

Day 1 - Santiago de Chile

Arrive in Santiago de Chile and explore the city at leisure.

Day 2 - Santiago de Chile - Punta Arenas

Fly from Santiago de Chile to Punta Arenas to embark Midnatsol. Enjoy a welcome dinner this evening.

Days 3-5 - Chilean Fjords and Cape Horn

Call at Isla Tucker, a small island famous for its colony of Magellanic Penguins, birds, dolphins and sea lions, before Midnatsol navigates its way through the narrow Canal Gabriel. Take in the dramatic scenery of the Chilean Fjords and in the Garibaldi Fjord, join a zodiac trip to look at the glaciers at the end of the fjord. Weather permitting, go ashore in Cape Horn.

Days 6-7 - At sea

As Midnatsol cruises to Antarctica, enjoy documentaries and activities on board.

Days 8-13 - Antarctica

Notice the air getting colder and crisper as you cross to Antarctica. See the penguins and icebergs in the water and you might even spot whales. Join the expedition team with Zodiac landings, hikes and kayaking.

Day 14-16 - Falkland Islands

The Falkland Islands are said to look like a miniature England, with red phone boxes and red buses. Explore Stanley, capital of the Falklands, or join the expedition team in the wild surroundings. Enjoy a day among penguins, seals and elephant seals. Reach Carcass Islands, paradise for bird-lovers as it is home to several species of ducks, geese, penguins and albatrosses.

Day 17 - At sea

Complete the loop of the Magellan Strait, Enjoy a Farewell Dinner this evening.

Day 18 - Punta Arenas - Santiago de Chile

Disembark Midnatsol in Punta Arenas and fly back to Santiago de Chile.

Southern Hemisphere Itinerary

Day 1 - Santiago de Chile

Arrive in Santiago de Chile and explore the city at leisure.

Day 2 - Santiago de Chile - Punta Arenas

Fly from Santiago de Chile to Punta Arenas to embark Midnatsol. Enjoy a welcome dinner this evening.

Days 3-5 - Chilean Fjords - Cape Horn

Gather on deck to see Isla Tucker, famous for its colony of Magellanic penguins and sea lions. Next, cruise through the narrow Canal Gabriel. Continue to the breathtaking Garibaldi fjord. Take small boats and enjoy a closer look. Cape Horn is the southernmost tip of South America. Dependent on weather conditions, we will go ashore.

Day 6 - At sea

As Midnatsol cruises to Antarctica, enjoy documentaries and activities on board.

Days 7-10 - Antarctica

Notice the air getting colder and crisper as you cross to Antarctica. See the penguins and icebergs in the water and you might even spot whales. Join the expedition team with Zodiac landings, hikes and kayaking.

Day 11 - At sea

Enjoy the ship's facilities on board during a day at sea.

Days 12-14 - Falkland Islands

The Falkland Islands are said to look like a miniature England, with red phone boxes and red buses. Explore Stanley, capital of the Falklands, or join the expedition team in the wild surroundings. Enjoy a day among penguins, seals and elephant seals.

Days 15-16 - At sea

Cross the Drake Passage and along the coast of Argentina.

Day 17 - Montevideo

Disembark in Montevideo.
