After rounding Cape Horn and crossing the
Drake Passage you’ll explore Antarctica
with its quite unique landscape and wildlife. Here you can
visit penguin colonies, see majestic icebergs float by and
watch seals basking in the sun.
The MS Nordnorge visits Antarctica on a cruise from Patagonia at
the tip of South America around Cape Horn and through the
fjords of southern Chile.
The southern Andes Mountains, with numerous
volcanoes among them, form a stunning backdrop to the lush
and green coastal landscape, dotted with colourful fishing
villages. On the first and last voyage of the season MS Nordnorge’s
visit to Antarctica is combined with a cruise to South
Georgia and the Falkland Islands.
The 110-passenger former scientific research vessels Akademik
Ioffe and Akademik Sergey Vavilov
offer five different expedition cruises deep into the Antarctic
